Sorterandet av små träd, element som liknar djur, pinnar som härmar ledningar, golv som härmar saker i taket, bilder på mänsklig idioti, upptagna eluttag, rörstumpar och en undersökning av vattenmassor. The sorting of small trees, heaters that resemble animals, sticks that mimic pipes, a floor that mimics things in the ceiling, images showing human idiocy, occupied wall sockets, pipe stumps and a study of masses of water. Mimicking, transforming, cleaning and displacing as a method for investigating spatial features of rooms and its objects. Shown with a photo by Jiajia Zhang.

Installation: Iron, heaters, plastic skulls, different tapes, acrylic paint, wood, bark and twigs from birch, mountain-ash, fir and asp, steel hooks, fabric, cloth, parts of the floor, bouncingballs cut in halfs, collages, a painting, water collection, photo from a friend and frame, different lights, filler, the part of a log where the axe hits many times and a square to keep the log from making to much noice when in use.

The exhibition was part of the series 圈(Circle), with Max Ockborn, Kah Bee Chow, Lena Bergendahl and Jiajia Zhang at Cigarrvägen 13. Elements from different exhibitions circulated and traveled through the series.

Cigarrvägen 13 is an artist-run project space in Hökarängen, Stockholm.

Det finns en slags balk i taket som är formad som ett L. Kanske mer en slags låda. Den täcker antagligen över rör vilka leder avföring eller liknande för de som bor i huset. Det ser ut som om ledningarna på andra sidan av rummet leder vatten. Vattenledningarna får finna sig i att bli härmade av små träd från en skog som ligger nära. I golvet, bestående av rutor i samma färg, som är smutsigt grå-brunt saknas det fjorton rutor vilka har fyllts med linoleum av en annan färg, en solid form, den är gjord i en slags grisrosa färg med marmormönster och inslag av grått. Formen i golvet får finna sig i att bli utökad till en L-form, den har fått fyra rutor till, den härmar nu balklådan i taket. Fast golv L:et har jämförelsevis skruvats ett kvarts varv åt höger, det som förbinder dem visar rörelsen i förflyttningen. Man kan se golv L:et som en skugga av det i taket. Det som binder ihop dem kommer också från skogen vilken ligger nära. Vid det stora fönstret står ett djur, tyvärr är det så pass dött att man mest ser dess skelett. Samma sak gäller djuret vid det mindre fönstret. Här är det svårt att veta vem som härmar vem. Det finns fyra eluttag, två från en vit kontakt och två från en svart, alla fyra uttagen ska användas. Med användas menas att de inte ska vara tomma, de har ändrats. De små träden kommer att sorteras i trä, kvistar, bark och övrigt (stubbar och rötter tas inte in). Sorterandet härmar andra sorteringar av naturen.

There is a sort of beam in the ceiling which is shaped like an L. Maybe its more of a box. It probably conceals sewage pipes or something similar for the apartments above. It looks as though the pipes on the other side of the room transport the water supply. The water pipes will have to put up with being mimicked by small trees that comes from a forest nearby. In the floor, consisting of same coloured squares, which is in a unclean greyish brown shade there is fourteen squares missing which has been filled out with linoleum in another colour, a solid shape. It’s made in a kind of pig-pink hue with a marble pattern and a streak of grey.This shape on the floor has to put out with being expanded in to an L shape, it has gained the area of four additional squares, and it now mimics the beam-box in the ceiling. Although the floor L has in comparison been turned one quarter of a circle to the right. That which binds them together shows the movement of the displacement. The L in the floor can be seen as a shadow of the one in the ceiling. What binds them together also comes from the forest that is nearby. By the large window stands an animal, sadly it is so dead that you can mostly just see its bones. The same thing goes for the animal by the smaller window. Here it’s hard to see who mimics whom. There are four wall sockets, two white ones and two black ones, all four of them will be used. Being used means that they won’t be empty, they have been changed. The small trees will be sorted into wood, bark and other (stumps and roots will not be taken inside). That sorting mimics other sorting of nature.
